The Business Essentials Giveaway is being run by Consilo in collaboration with the participating businesses contributing prizes to the giveaway.
2. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 or over entering on behalf of a business.
Employees and directors of Consilo Ltd who are directly involved in administering the giveaway are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary.
3. Giveaway Period
The giveaway opens on 1 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 8 November 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.
4. Where the Giveaway is Running
The Business Essentials Giveaway is being promoted across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Entrants may complete the entry requirements on any one of these platforms.
Only one standard entry per business is permitted across the entire promotion, regardless of how many platforms the business uses to enter.
Completing the entry requirements on more than one platform will not generate additional standard entries.
All valid entries received across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn will be combined into one overall prize draw with one overall winner.
5. How to Enter
To receive one valid standard entry, entrants must complete all three of the following steps on the giveaway post on the platform through which they choose to enter:
- FOLLOW Consilo and all participating businesses on that platform, where the participating business has an account on that platform.
- LIKE & COMMENT on the giveaway post.
- SHARE the giveaway post using the sharing functionality available on that platform.
Where a share cannot be viewed or verified by Consilo because of an entrant's privacy settings, Consilo may request reasonable evidence of the share, such as a screenshot, before validating the entry.
All three requirements must be completed for an entry to be valid.
6. Bonus Entry
Each entrant may receive one additional bonus entry by tagging another business in the comments of the giveaway post on the platform through which they enter.
A maximum of one bonus entry per business will be awarded across the entire promotion.
Entering or tagging businesses across multiple platforms will not generate further bonus entries.
Each business may therefore have a maximum of two entries in the final draw: one standard entry and one bonus entry.
The bonus entry does not replace any of the standard entry requirements.
7. The Prize
There will be one winner, who will receive the complete Business Essentials Giveaway package worth over £1,000.
The prize package comprises:
Consilo Ltd — One two-hour sales training session for up to five people.
The Podcast Studio — One professionally produced podcast episode, including a recording session of up to one hour, full episode editing and three edited social media clips.
AM Elevate Solutions — Two hours of virtual administrative support.
Florence Mary Creations — A business-branded package comprising a water bottle, travel flask, notepads, a branded Christmas ornament and a small acrylic business sign.
MKFM — Two tickets to its next Social Meet event.
Collaborate MK — Free entry for one person to two networking events.
SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards — Two business award category entries.
The combined retail value of the complete prize package is over £1,000 at the time the promotion is launched.
8. SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards Deadline
The two SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards category entries are subject to a fixed submission deadline of 16 November 2026.
The winner will therefore need to select their chosen categories and complete and submit their award entries by this deadline.
The award organiser's usual eligibility criteria, entry requirements and terms will apply.
Failure to submit the entries by 16 November 2026 may result in this element of the prize being forfeited.
9. Prize Redemption
Unless a different deadline is expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions, each individual element of the prize package must be claimed or booked with the relevant prize provider within three months of the winner accepting the prize.
The actual delivery, appointment, service or event date may take place outside the three-month period where this is agreed between the winner and the relevant prize provider.
The winner is responsible for cooperating with Consilo and the relevant participating businesses to make the necessary redemption or booking arrangements within this period.
Failure to claim or make the necessary booking arrangements within three months may result in that element of the prize being forfeited.
The SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards category entries are excluded from the three-month redemption period and must be submitted by 16 November 2026.
10. General Prize Conditions
The prize package is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
Individual prizes involving services, appointments or events will be arranged directly with the relevant prize provider and are subject to mutually agreed dates and the reasonable booking arrangements of that provider.
Where a prize involves attendance at an event, travel, accommodation and other associated expenses are not included unless expressly stated otherwise.
Each participating business has agreed to provide the prize attributed to it and will be responsible for arranging the practical delivery or redemption of that element with the winner.
Consilo will reasonably assist in coordinating fulfilment of the complete prize package.
11. Winner Selection
Following the closing date, all valid entries received across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn will be collated into one overall prize draw.
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using a verifiably random computer process.
Each valid business will appear once in the draw for its standard entry and, where the bonus-entry requirement has also been completed, once more for its bonus entry.
Consilo will retain appropriate evidence of the random selection process.
12. Verification
Before awarding the prize, Consilo may verify that the selected entrant completed all required entry steps and otherwise complied with these Terms & Conditions.
If the selected entrant has not met the stated entry requirements, their entry may be deemed invalid and another winner selected at random using the same process.
13. Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize
The winner will be selected and contacted by Consilo within 24 hours of the giveaway closing.
The winner will be contacted through the social media platform/account used to enter.
Consilo will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected winner during the claim period.
The winner must claim the prize within 24 hours of Consilo's first notification by responding to confirm acceptance of the prize and providing any information reasonably required to verify their entry and arrange fulfilment.
If the selected winner does not claim the prize within this 24-hour period, despite reasonable attempts by Consilo to contact them, the prize will be forfeited and another eligible winner will be selected at random.
The same 24-hour claim period will apply to any replacement winner.
Consilo will never request payment from a winner in order to claim or release the prize.
14. Winner Announcement
Consilo intends to announce the winning business or social media account once the winner has been contacted, has claimed the prize and their entry has been verified.
Consilo will make available information demonstrating that a valid award has taken place where required by applicable promotional marketing requirements.
Entrants may object to their information being published or request that the amount of information published is reduced. Where required, Consilo may nevertheless provide relevant winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority.
15. Prize Fulfilment
Following verification and acceptance by the winner, Consilo will coordinate with the participating businesses to facilitate access to the individual elements of the prize package.
Each participating business will arrange the practical delivery, booking or redemption of the prize it has contributed.
Consilo and the participating businesses will provide the winner with the information reasonably necessary to redeem the applicable prizes.
Event and service-based prizes may be delivered on dates agreed with the relevant participating business, subject to the redemption and booking requirements and any fixed deadlines stated in these Terms & Conditions.
Where an advertised prize cannot be supplied due to circumstances outside Consilo's reasonable control, a reasonable equivalent of a similar nature may be arranged.
16. Personal Information
Personal information obtained in connection with the giveaway will only be used where reasonably necessary to administer the giveaway, verify entries, contact the winner and arrange fulfilment of the prizes.
Entering the giveaway does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications from Consilo or any participating business.
17. Social Media Disclaimer
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn.
By entering, participants acknowledge that Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn are not responsible for the administration of this promotion.
